Indie rock innovator John Vanderslice performed tonight at local venue Kilby Court. A few years ago I'd had the opportunity to see Vanderslice perform as the opening act for Pedro the Lion. Since he was back in town tonight I thought it might be good to see him again. While I don't consider him one of my favorite musicians, I do enjoy some of his music. Along with his fellow bandmates Vanderslice put on a good show tonight. Seattle based Crystal Skulls provided the opening entertainment.
