While appearances can and often are deceiving the Classic Wind-up Robot from Hammacher Schlemmer looks pretty damn cool. Furthermore, the seven foot reproduction of Robby the Robot as seen in the classic film the Forbidden Planet is worth seeing. But at $50,000 for Robby I'm afraid the $20 Classic Wind-up Robot is more in my price range.Wednesday, December 21, 2005
